Since it's back to work today- I don't have time for a 10k- instead did:
    3 rounds
    15 DL
    10 push ups
    5 pull up
    1 min rest
    15 thrusters
    1 min rest
    3 rounds
    10 power cleans
    10 burpees
15 min total cap for time.

I had 3 min left on timer. Good job to all those doing the 10k today!

My 10k time was around 58 mins.
Today was an easy run, not focused on time.

Would love to try this (never gone that far before) but not inside on my treadmill. Committing to trying Saturday when daddy's home.

Tried a 5k and started off great (for me – 8.5 min miles) but about halfway got the most debilitating side cramp – right over my lung. Tried to run through it but it felt like my abs were ripping open. Gimping by mile 2 and had to quit. Never went away. 18 mins for 2 miles. 🙁

    Any tips from good runners?

    Did 2.1 miles. 25:00

Haven't been running and I'm not an afternoon runner. Had to stop and walk a few times because I had absolutely no energy!!

56 min on the treadmill. Had to run intervals to make it more interesting. I hate the treadmill but it's a wintertime must for me.

I run a 10K every weekend so didn't do it today.
Most of my times are under 45 minutes. I'll do a timed one this Sunday.

Also as for cramps, are you hydrated enough? Also it's typically caused by not breathing deeply enough. If you make a rhythm with your breathing it helps. I breath in cadence to my foot falls and that keeps my whole run in a pattern/rhythm.

I do the same Janelle. Find a rhythm and pace yourself with that. It's all a mind over run game!

Thank you. I live in Colorado and can never drink enough water. Will try that. Trying the 10k on Saturday!
