10 1-minute rounds of:
3 deadlifts, 60 lbs
60-yard shuttle sprint (5 yards, 10 yards, 15 yards)
Max reps burpees

(Further explanation: For each 1 minute round, complete 3 dead lifts, a 5 yard, 10 yard, and 15 yard shuttle sprint- there and back, and then finish the minute with burpees. Take a 2 minute rest and start again…9 more rounds.)

Rest 2 minutes between rounds. Post number of burpees completed each round to comments.

  1. Still making modifications for back- getting better but still not cleared to run or lift heavy.
    DL- 20# ( but did 6 each round)
    Subbed 1 up/down on stairs for sprint
    Burpees to plank- my back is feeling it on those 🙁

    Subbed DLHP for burpee using 12# dumbbells (24#total). I jammed my finger at the Roc Race on Sat and can't stomach the pressure of burpees.

    Gym challenge move of the day: 100 lunges with bicep curl -50 each leg. And I added the curl simply to keep my balance. Used 5# dumbbells.

    Had a horrible head ache this workout, but was determined to get it done. Head ache aside, I liked this one too.
