*Some of you have been asking how I have been doing and how my surgery went. The surgery was very successful and exceeded our expectations for correction. I was diagnosed at 14 with scoliosis and by the time I graduated high school I had two 30 degree curves in my back. After 18 more years and 4 pregnancies my scoliosis had progressed to two almost 60 degrees curves and I had shrunken from 5’10” to 5’8″. It was progressing so I had to have surgery to stop it. So now I am straight and I have to take 3 months off but my recovery has been going really well and I am feeling better and better every day. It has been hard for me to post these WODs and not be able to do any of them but I will be back soon enough. Thanks for asking Mamas, thanks for caring.

Didn't think I had the time (before hubby went to work) or energy (up alot with kids last night) to work out today, and almost skipped it, until I read Jenni's story. Then I figured I could at least do something, so I tried and ended up fitting in two rounds, mostly walking, for 19:50. Not my greatest, but certainly a personal victory and I feel great!

Thanks for sharing how you're doing, Jenni. Glad to hear you're doing better!

I'm nothing if not consistent 🙂 Excuses for not being faster: New shoes, ran 9 yesterday, didn't find the lap button as quickly as I'd like, etc.

My son has minor scoliosis…I'm happy you're straightened out 🙂

I did "fight gone bad" subbing max double unders for row. I did the rx'd weight of 55# which was SO HARD and my reps show it.

6 weeks until summer and I have my 15 year old home to babysit so I can do the running WOD's. No excuses.
