Vi-shake
no caffeine
no soda  
only fruit or veggie snacks
  no food after 8:00pm
no alcohol
reduce sugar intake 
3 glasses of water a day
no fried food
8 hours of sleep
no preservatives
eliminate wheat
finish strong!

    Not my fastest my time. Racing this weekend, so I wanted to save my legs a little and not go all out.

  2. Pouring down rain and thunderstorms here. Will try 5K this weekend..
    Did modified crossfit 14.5 WOD this morning. 20 lbs Thrusters and bar-
    facing burpees. 17:00

  3. I could only do 3K, but I was so excited that I could even finish that!!! 3K took me 23:57 so I'm guessing that if I did the full 5K it would take me about 40 minutes. ~13:20 per mile.

    When I started I thought there was no way I would finish this but I pushed through the mental pain so proud of myself!! 🙂

    Almost 2 minutes faster than 2 1/2 months ago! Didn't get a time for 2/27.

    You runners still put me to shame. 🙂

  6. Andrews Family, it should be 3.10 miles. a 10K is 6.2

    Have a head cold but ran anyway, though I didn't push it.

    23:00. Then I ran more for a total of 5.25 miles.

    In about 40 minutes.

    I haven't been running much lately. I was hopeing for under 27. Close.

    Finished with 21-15-9 of KTE and dead lifts 40#

    I did finally figure out it was 3.1 just recently, which is weird b/c I think it was my runner hubby who told me 5k is 3.2(??). Just wanted to make it consistent with last time for comparison's sake.

    My actual 5K time was 28:15.

    Not my fastest time but I've had the flu 3 times in the last month an a half so it's better than I expected.

  11. 26:26 took 2 min off my time from February! I am happy 🙂

  12. 27:34. Treadmill. Some sprints, some walking, plenty of mid range speed. This was a hard run for me…seems like my Friday runs always are. I would have liked to be under 27….next time 🙂

    First 1k ran keeping pace with my 4.5-year-old who apparently is going to be a runner like his mama! 🙂

  14. 34:34. Had to slow down in the beggining for my 4 yr old to catch up &stopped timer once to talk to him. Slower than last year but didn't have a liitle guy with me.
