“Tabata That!”


Tabata Jump rope
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Squat
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Push press, 20 lbs
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Push-up
Rest 1 minute
Tabata Butterfly sit-up


The
Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest
for 8 intervals. Write down your reps each time during your 10 second
rests.



Tabata score is the least number of reps performed in any of the eight intervals.


Post Tabata score for each exercise to comments and total for final score.


Compare to 12.19.12

    * subbed 100# deadlifts for push press. I'm a breastfeeding mama and developed mastitis after those 75 push presses in one of those workouts last week. Never had this happen before, but I can't think of anything else it may have been related to. Seriously, the. Clogged duct happened within 2 hours of finishing the workout.anyone else had this happen?

      Not mastitis from push presses, but I have gotten a breast infection while nursing from being in a sweaty sports bra too long. 🙁 Either way, that stuff hurts!!

    I'm confused, never done tabata before…Do I do all 8 rounds of the jump rope then move on, or do you do all five excercises for the first round then rest? Sorry if i am not asking correctly, hoping someone can explain it to me!!

    All improved from Dec except Jump Rope, (I was pretending in Dec, now I have a real one), and push ups stayed the same (because of 1 bad round!) Otherwise, improvement noted!! Yeah!

    Thanks Jenni for continuing to post these WOD's. It's the only work out program that I've stuck with in years.

    Couldn't find my compare time although I'm certain I did this in Dec.. oh well! Score of 85. 34 jump rope, 17 squat, 15 push press with 30#, 10 gpus, and 9 bfsu with arms crossed. Thanks for your perseverance Jenni!!
