After seeing everyone's times I went back and remeasured my distances. I know I'm slow but I didn't think I was that slow!! My sprints were 300 meters and runs were about 450 meters. Still slow but better 🙂

Oh summertime 😉 slept too late to be on track this morning and try treadmill while 2.5 yr old played in basement. Didn't work out because she kept coming over to me and I was nervous she was going to get too close.

I did a no-equipment workout instead ("At Home Chipper"). 22:07

not to bring up the legal stuff again, but did someone take the califitmamas domain name just to stop you from it? it just looked a little fishy. anyway, so so glad i found cfmamas and i echo everyone else's comments: keep up the good work! not since i did water aerobics in college (and found the same helpful, supportive environment) have i been able to find an exercise regime that i've been so passionate about (and the results here have been way better!), and part of the reason why i love it is the fact that i can keep up with it at home and at my own convenience. all the best to you, jenni, and if they bother you again, just change the name to something like "kittens and bunnies for the lazy" and that'll throw them off the scent 😉

So being the non-runner that I am, my times are pitifully slow compared to you ladies, but I'm so proud I finished! I had to walk some after the sprint to catch my breath, but I still finished the total 600 meters in the five minutes. Yay! Not as rx'd for sure, but I gave it good effort!

Sprint times: (some are approximate because my treadmill is a super basic model that you have to wait for it to click through all the options before it shows you the distance)

Sprint portion was uphill on grass, plus dragging my slow @$$ dog for first 3 rounds until I tied him to a tree and just let him bark about being left behind.

    pulling dog along behind me:
    1:12 (2:01)
    1:06 (2.39)
    1:14 (2:33)

    without dog:
    1:00 (2:52)

route in reverse so that sprint was on the flat and the run was up/down hill:
    0:42 (3:11)

I had a major user/equipment malfunction on the first round. It doesn't seem like my Garmin does laps properly and it stops the timer when I stop moving. I'll have to play with the settings. Because I was fussing with it I can't tell if I reset my watch after the first round and thus don't have the times for it, or if I only did 5 rounds. At any rate, I did another run with my 5 year old as "her workout" which was 600m of sprints, resting every 50m for several seconds. She's pretty fast when she runs, though!
