Tuesday 05.14.13

With a continuously running clock, do one sit-up and one push-up the
first minute, two sit-ups and two push-ups the second minute, three
sit-ups and three push-ups the third minute… continuing as long as
you are able.

When you cannot complete the required number of reps for either
exercise, continue only with the other as long as you are able. For
example, if you are on minute 6 and you do your 6 sit-ups but only get
to 4 push ups and then minute 7 starts, you just start over and do your 7
sit-ups without the push-ups until you can no longer do the sit-ups
required within the minute.

Use as many sets in any order each minute as needed. So switch it up within the minute if you want/need to.

The WOD is over when you keel over. 😉

Post number of minutes successfully completed for EACH exercise to
comments. Their sum is your score. For example: 15 minutes of push-ups + 20
minutes of sit-ups = 35 (20 minute total workout)

  1. Boy push-ups until round 13.
    14 minutes sit-ups
    22 min of push-ups.
    36 total score

  2. 18 push ups
    25 sit ups
    Total: 43
Boy push ups up to round 10

  3. I got to 12 minites. Within each minite I kept rotatong the number of situps and push-ups until the next minute then rotated that number. I don't know if that was what I was supposed to do or if I was only supposed to only do 1 of eavh first min, 2 of each only second min, so on.

  4. Had to stop after 14 rounds to make an eye appt. bpu until round 8. Total 28

  5. 15 rounds push ups(boy p/u thru round 12)
    19 rounds sit ups
    Total 34

  6. 13 with both (bpu thru round 5), 16 sit ups = 29. I think I did that right? This was a lot harder than it sounded!

  7. 14 minutes each = 28
Modified handstand pu rounds 1-5, bpu rounds 6-10, then gpu rounds 11-14.

  8. 9 push ups+15 sit ups=26 after a squat and ab challenge

this is my first time trying Crossfit and I think I might be in love!

  9. 19+17=36 ran short on time, but did cfsu until the raspberry that I have on my tailbone started hurting enough I couldn't go anymore. Well, it's now bleeding, but I loved this WOD!

  10. Oy! 14 minutes of each. About a minute more of push ups… had a hard time wrapping my brain around this one.

  11. 16 minutes of sit-ups plus 8 minutes of push-ups (bpu literally only the first 2 rounds!) I had a hard time with this-I got antsy in those early minutes waiting for the minute to change! I like the constant motion of other crossfit WODs.

  12. Sorry–that is 24…I don't feel so bad since it's only my 3rd day and I seem inline with at least some of you!

  13. 15 push ups (went to knees for 14 and 15)

    25 sit ups

    Total = 40

  14. 15 CFSU + 15 PU(boy through 11s)= 30. Nursing an inflamed lower back.

  15. 10 minutes of boy push-ups and sit-ups. Although on the 10th round I did 5 push-ups and 10 sit-ups. I was worn out. :/
    Which equaled- 50 push-ups and 55 sit-ups total. 🙂 still not bad.

  16. 17 rounds push ups (bpu to 11) + 28 rounds of sit ups = 45

  17. 12+12 for me. Way harder than it sounded! Bpu through round 4.

  18. 11 rounds sit ups, 14 knee push ups = 25 🙂

not sure I did this correct – I only did one rep within each minute . . .if I was continuous it would have killed me so early! This way I did 66 cfsu and 105 knee push ups, which sounds good to me!

    45 min walk

  19. 20 full rounds could have probably made it 22 full rounds, but I lost interest. All boy pushups

  20. Obviously not thinking clearly… I only figured this out after I was done, but I worked my bum off for 10 and 10, so 20 it is today. 🙂

  21. Score: 32
    15 rounds of sit-ups
17 rounds of push-ups (first 10 rounds were boy)

  22. 12 full rounds with gpu and cfsu. 8 cfsu after that so total= 32. Interesting workout.

  23. Not sure where you are at but I get the WOD around 2 in the afternoon do I do it the next day. Haven't been posting since I am always a day behind. This one was confusing.

  24. Score: 34
17 of each.. gpu after 10
Arms are jello..much harder than I thought!!

  25. 13 sit-ups and 18 push-ups gpu after round 10

    = 31

3rd cf wod and I'm hooked!! Sore but hooked 🙂

  26. 14 rounds push-ups (first 8 rounds bpu) 18 rounds cfsu=32 total

  27. Not sure I did this right….did 15 rounds of p/u cfsu together and then alternated p/u and cfsu for rest… So I did p/u for rounds 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and cfsu for rounds17, 19, 21, 23

  28. Score of 35, 15 rounds with pushups, only got to 13 on 15th round, and 20 rounds cfsus, only got to 18 on 20th round. Bpus all.

  29. 11+17=28.
In round 12 I made 11 push ups so I just missed it by 1!
All mil push ups. I was determined not to mod just so I could make more rounds.
CFSUs are soooo slow. I still don't get the point and don't feel it in my abs no matter how many I do.

I am between houses for two months so I only have running shoes (no baby jogger) and 10# dumbbells…this was a perfect WOD for my limited "gym."

  30. 12 min push ups (plus 10)
19 min sit ups (plus 19!)

    total: 31

  31. 40
    15 push-ups
25 oblique sit-ups (tail bone was too sore for CFSU)

  32. 12 + 12 = 24 total I did not have time to do this on Tues so I tried to do it after Weds WOD. Major fail and I'll save future missed workouts for Sat.

  33. went to 15 minutes before I couldn't start the set of pushups…don't know if it was right but I'm feeling it! And did up 4 bpu in a row!
    (after friday's wo)
