I am so glad to have found this blog! I don't have a membership to a gym and I am a little concerned about the days where you need bars and heavy weights. On those days should I just google alternative workouts? I did the workout for the 24th and loved it! Thanks!
Welcome Valentine! Most of us don't use a bar either, just light dumbbells. If you could get a set of 10lb and a set of 15lb you would be set and they are pretty cheap. You can even get them at Target. There is a list of suggested equipment on the right sidebar of the full page. 🙂
Jenni,
Thanks for the advice. The pullup bar may be a challenge, but I can work around it 🙂 I just saw that you are from Brentwood, CA. I grew up in Antioch. Small world!
Please tell me that you have a brother named Jake Valentine that I completely had a crush on at Belshaw Elementary in 6th grade!? 🙂
PS you can also get pull up bars at Target that are around $20 and just hang from your door frame.
My maiden name was Cook and graduated in 95. I am probably old enough to be a much older sister of yours… I didn't realize there were Valentine's in Antioch. I have some friends in Brentwood, Schwitters?
I will check out those door frame bars… I am excited because these exercises seem totally do-able with my schedule and desire 🙂
I graduated in 96 so not a MUCH older sister and I am pretty sure I know you Tiffany Cook. You graduated with my cousin, Trista Larson….which is my maiden name. 😉
I know Trista! Such a small world! I am sure we have a lot of similar friends 🙂
