10 rounds for time of:
sprint 100 meters
10 squats
sprint 100 meters
10 Burpees
Rest 30 seconds

  1. 21:08 – but halfway through I switched to 5 burpees… I hate those things!!! Did it all outside – 95 degrees/40% humidity. I'm dripping! Crew is dripping and all he did was help me count!!! Ps- some of my squats included an adorable 25 lb. weight! 😉

  2. So I already knew I was pathetically out of shape, and today was just proof of that fact. But the good news is, in the future I'll be able to look back at today's workout and see how much I've improved, because all I can do is go up from here 😀

I cut the squats to 5 and the burpees to 3 and I made it through 5 sets in 12 minutes. (Do I get bonus points for sprinting while pushing a double jogging stroller with my clingy 2yo and baby in it ;D )

  3. so I'm wondering, does crossfit included any kind of warm-up, cool-down or stretching? i got an ankle injury 2 years ago while working out and don't want anything like that again!

  4. I forgot that I changed the WOD to squats instead of pull-ups and did sit-ups instead. So 10 rounds with 10 sit-ups and 5 burpees per round:

Linds- there are no warm-ups or cool downs included in the timed WODs but I always stretch before I start my stopwatch.

  5. I tried to run yesterday but my jogger is shot – bent axel! I maybe made it a mile but the stroller kept veering sharply to the right.

My modified version WOD since I couldn't go running:

30 reps each – rotating through one set of jumping jacks, boxing, butt kicks or jump rope instead of 100 meter sprint.

    33 minutes

w/ modified burpees, those are killer!

  6. yeah, i'm just working in my own warm-up and cool-down too.

p.s. i love the crossfit sit-up. i'm feeling ALL my ab muscles and i only did 25 of them!!

  7. Linds- sometimes if I can't run because of kids, I just do 100 jumping jacks instead of 100 meter run. Gets the heart going just the same.

  8. 7 sets of 100m run, 5 pull-ups, 100m run, 10 burpees = 21:15
    3 sets of 100m run, 4 pull-ups, 100m run, 5 burpees = 7:47
    Total time = 20:02

  9. You are hard core Mary! I cannot even do 1 single pull up. But I am totally good with that. 😉
