Back in the day I did notice that I got faster the further I went. Same trend here. I even stopped for kiddo (for too long…20? 30 secs?) during the last leg so we could cross the street together and still got this great time.
After taking off for a year (!), I'm back!! I did NOT run, but walked…very slow…really, really slow. So slow, I'm scared to post my time, but I did this on my treadmill without using the handrails and up to an incline of 4. My goal was to not go so fast that I had to hold on, defeating my purpose. Plus, I haven't done any type of exercise in a year and I didn't want to overdo it. It feels good to be sweating again (without having a hot-flash)! lol
Injured foot can't run so decided to do a 600 meter swim for 20 min then a 10 min warm down. Hope to do crossfit where it feel comfortable, but when. I can't I will swim! Not giving up!! 🙂
No treadmill & roads way too icy, so I repeated the workout from 1/4/14 and smashed my time.
