With a continuously running clock, do one sit-up and one  push-up the first minute, two sit-ups and two push-ups the second minute, three sit-ups and three push-ups the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.
When you cannot complete the required number of reps for either exercise, continue only with the other as long as you are able. For example, if you are on minute 6 and you do your 6 sit-ups but only get to 4 push ups and then minute 7 starts, you just start over and do your 7 sit-ups without the push-ups until you can no longer do the push-ups required within the minute.
Use as many sets in any order each minute as needed. So switch it up within the minute if you want/need to.
The WOD is over when you keel over. 😉

Post number of minutes successfully completed for each exercise to comments. Their sum is your score. For example: 10 minutes- sit-ups + 5 minutes push-ups = 15

*I know this WOD can be a bit confusing but I am just trying to stick as closely as possible to the original WOD.

  1. Ok, so if on minute 13 I did 13 sit-ups and 13 push-ups my total is 26? How many points do I get for having a 2-year-old on my back during my push-ups? Oh yeah, and my hahotdog run over by a tricycle!

  2. Wow I suck!!! Lol! Eight minutes and 8 full reps and pooped. Lol!

  3. Okay, 17 rounds for both, kept going until 24 rounds for sit-ups = 41 points. Technically I still had 4 second left on round 24 but I knew I couldn't get through another 25 sit-ups so I called it good.
    Total girly push-ups= 153!
    Total sit-ups= 300!! WOWZA!
    I impress myself! Love that!

  4. okay, my first attempt.

10 rounds for both, didn't finish 11th set of push-ups in time.

Britta, I'm in the same boat…Mase was trying to sit on me, then pulled me away to get a toy down for him. I see kids involved as an extra challenge!

post workout I realized I didn't do the push-ups correctly….would have completed A LOT less if I did it the right way! all the way to the floor? yeah, i'm too weak for that! and i'll be doing a modified push-up on my knees for a while yet 🙂

  5. I made 15 rounds for both.
    25 rounds for sits ups.
    Total 40 points.
    My arms are dead.

  6. PS Britta & Linds- I am always doing the WODs with kids around too. I wait until Tyce is napping at 10, but Dylan is home sometimes (non-preschool days) so I put on Backyardigans and give her a graham cracker = good for 30 minutes! I know yours are younger but try it!
