“Two of my pregnancies ended up in miscarriages and, in both, the problems began while I was exercising. As a result, for almost 3 years I did not exercise consistently. I got pregnant again and had my 5th baby in 2019. I found myself weighing the highest I’ve ever been. In December I was reading a book about the power of intention and it said something like “if you want to learn how to make cakes, hang out with bakers. If you want to be happy, hang out with happy people, etc.” I though, “I want to lose weight and be thin again, I need to hang out with someone who is in shape and exercises.” I thought of my friend, Jenni. She invited me to do her HIIT Mamas challenge starting in January. Having five children, including an infant who still doesn’t sleep through the night, makes it hard to stay motivated but I decided to not quit, as I had done many times in the past. I still have a lot of weight to lose but I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished so far:
In 90 days I lost a total of 20.2 lbs.
3 inches off my chest
4 inches off my waist
3 inches off my hips
2.25 inches off each my R and L thigh
1.25 inches off each my R and L arm
I’m grateful for HIIT Mamas, that provides me with a workout I can do in my garage, wearing whatever I want, whenever I want. I’m looking forward to getting stronger and healthier.”
