  2. New to this website. It looks awesome. I can't wait to incorporate these WOD into my routines. I have a question though, are the squats in today's WOD body weight or are we suppose to add weight? Not sure if we to assume it is body weight unless specified otherwise. Thanks!

Well the stitches on my butt that have been giving me so many problems… Turned into a staph infection so now I am not allowed to sweat or do strenuous exercise for 5 days… So I did the workout anyway, crunches, and spread it out through the morning so I didn't sweat. So no time to report 🙁 hopefully I'm back in full swing by Monday.

  10. Feeling a little discouraged…excessively bloated and gained two lbs:(. Today marks week 2 for me…anybody been there or have any words of encouragement?

  12. Well I'll be the longest so far. two weeks of crossfit workouts for me. Abs by far are the hardest. Six babies have killed my abdominal wall. So those really stretched out my time. Enough of excuses, my time was 24:29. All pushups on my toes!! I'm super pumped about that, and they weren't all that tough. Now to get my abs up to par…

    1. Way to go on the pushups! That's still a goal I'm working towards.

  13. 15:51, did last 15 of set 4 and all of set 5 CSU as reverse crunches. Everything else as RX'd.
    Followed up with a nice easy 22 minute walk/run with the husband and smallest 2 of 4.

  15. 21:43 with a few thousand interruptions from my 3 year old.
    10 girly pu/rest boy. substituted reverse crunches for the last 20 cfsu because i now have a terrible rub burn on my bum from all the others i did this week…that "badge of courage" hurts like a b&&ch!!

  16. 15:50 as rx'd my goal was 15 but it doesn't help when one of my 2 year olds decides it would be funny to lay day where my head goes for the cfsu every round. Itmade it fun though. My abs are already talking to me.

    I wanted a little bit more today, so I added 200m sprints at the end of each round (but didn't include them in my time), so I guess I had unfair breaks in between…or so my husband says because I beat him;)

  21. 17:00 – 2 rounds of boy pushups and situps were more like half situps. But I'm loving the squats. Can already feel my abs getting stronger & it's only day 3 for me.

  22. 23:46 – Had to sub crunches for last 3 rounds or I would have been still working out 4 hours later. And actually, I felt the ab burn doing crunches but I never feel my abs when I do CFSUs. Odd. Maybe because I have to have so much help, ie weight my feet down and pull with my arms for a lot of the CFSUs?

    All knee push ups, natch. Now that I can power out a few knee push ups I don't want to switch to standard and see my times get even slower.

    Today's motivation was the black tie dinner we attend this Saturday night. I want my shoulders to look good!

  23. 21:59. Boy am I slow! I did all boy push ups! 🙂 Rest as Rx'd. My abs were screaming at me after the CFSU in Round 3!

    My goal was under 20:00 – I figured 4-ish minutes per round wasn't too much to ask. I saw my time right before I started the last set of squats and realized I really had to push those out quick. I didn't think my legs would make it, but they did! Under 20:00!
    I did make a couple substitutions, though, just to shake things up a little. Round 3 I did bicycle crunches for the sit-ups (both sides = 1 rep), and round 4 I did russian twists (again, both sides = 1 rep). And rounds 3 and 4 I did 25 squats and 25 squat-glute lift combos. Rounds 1, 2 and 5 were as rx'd.

  28. 24:20 with 20 crunches/20 reverse crunches. I can't even squeak out 1 CFSU yet. I did some earlier in the week & my abs have been killing me ever since!

  36. 19:25 girl pu & I just can't seem to get the cfsu. Try & try & my abs just won't get me all of the way up. I did crunches & reverse crunches instead & did 30 of each. One day I will get it! I'm determined!

  37. 28 minutes for only 4 rounds. Boy those sit-ups are a killer! I may need to sub in crunches next time : )

    It's Friday, but I did this one since I'm traveling & don't have access to weights. Third WOD my goal was 20:00 so I did GREAT!!

  44. 14:04… finally did this on Friday. Happy I did it at all with the Friday WOD.

  45. 14:13 for 4 rounds (had to run teach a swimming class). Agree that the sit ups were the hardest part!
    Then about 800m swim in the sea.

  46. First day ever doing crossfit! 26 min. Changed to regular sit ups after 3 rounds. I hope this helps with the many pounds I need to lose.

  47. So did this workout after friday Jan 25th workout. Horrible time it took me 30min. Brutal. But I did it right?

    I was able to do 2 CFSU. Wahoo! Man, pregnancies and giving birth does a number on a person! I will get there, but that is what totally slowed me down. Could only do the rest at a 45 angle. The last round were scissor crunches.

    Squats 1 round plier with 15#
    round 2 together 15#
    last three reg with no weight. It goes much faster with no weight!

    pu. did one boy, the rest girl. I always start to struggle at 9. My left arm is so weak.

    Looking forward to being stronger and fitter. It's only been two weeks…. Looking forward to the weather being a bit warmer so I can start running again.

    My goal is to get a new wardrobe and new bras. The only way to get that is to loose the weight and get firm!

  49. Did this one on 1/26. I started 1/25 so I wanted to do wod over the weekend. :13:27… Did 10 situps. The rest crunches.

    I wouldn't worry about the bloating and weight gain. The bloating could be hormonal or water retention and both of those are going to cause you to weigh more. Plus you are adding muscle and muscle is heavy so don't rely too heavily on your scale for proof of progress. Use inches or times.
